The project was to convert an existing tenancy into an office for administration, counseling, meeting and a professional sound studio for music recording for a church charity organisation.
The work involved minimising changing the existing structure, including portal columns, windows doors and amenities.
The Sound Studio was designed in conjunction with a professional sound and acoustic engineer, paving way for a harmonious relationship between design and acoustic science. The wall and room layouts, levels and angles and ceiling profiles were designed for optimal sound recording quality.
Consideration to privacy within the counselling rooms was paramount in selecting the final floor plan layouts.
The existing structure had been worked into final design to ensure head heights and access areas were maintained.
