The client intended to operate the micro-brewery and also live on site in a caretakers residence on site. The development was lodged to council under the superseded town plan so as take advantage of reduced car parking requirements, but would not allow caretakers residence for code assessable conditions. It was decided that once the development was built, a further application would be sought to convert the offices of Unit 1 to caretakers residence.
