Restore Queenslander to Former Glory

This removal house was crying out to be restored to its formal original glory. From the twin entry stairs and dowel balustrade to the original wide floor boards, the new owner had a challenge on his hands. The new home’s relocated location high in the hills commanded fantastic 360 degree views.

It was our brief to provide new commercial quality kitchen and dining to rear and design a covered deck structure at the rear to compliment the existing rooflines. This was achieved by cutting into the main roof at a higher level so the view from inside was not hindered by the new roof. The deck was finished off with timber bifold doors and stainless steel balustrade.
