McKiernan Design Drafting is a building design business which specifically caters for the design and drafting for extensions, renovations, house raisings, decks and pergolas, as-built plans and new homes designed to the new energy efficiency standards. We also provide services in commercial and industrial projects no matter how big or small. We pride ourselves in providing personalised individual service for your situation.

An initial consultation, for a small fee, at your home or site will allow us to discuss your plans and ideas and determine the possibilities for your proposed building design. We will also advise of council regulations relating to your site and any other identifiable issues.

Once a design brief and proposal are accepted, work is begun on the preliminary plans and elevations to give you an understanding of what the finished product will be. After the preliminary plans are finalised, the drawings are then progressed to Working Drawings. These are used for submission to Council and Tender and Construction purposes.

Soil Testing, Structural Engineering, Contour and Height Surveys, Energy Efficiency and Town Planning can be organised by us on your behalf with Registered Professional Engineers , Licenced Soil testers, Surveyors and Town Planners. We can also assist with Development Approvals, Boundary Relaxations and Building Application Lodgement to Private Certifiers or Local Councils.

We are current members of the Building Designers Association of Queensland and the Queensland Master Builders Association

We will draw on our 18 years experience in the Building and Construction Industry to advise on best practice and latest products to provide you with cost effective and functional designs.

We are located in Wamuran and will travel to Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands, Beaudesert and Somerset Regions.
